    Thumbs up Hello from www.gamedash.co.uk

Hi I'm Paul based in West Yorkshire. For the past 6 months we've been running the website Gamedash after years of trading on Amazon and Ebay. On the whole its working well. Didn't fancy paying thousands for the site so used elance to find a web designer. Best bid was from buzzbrains based in india which was a little leap into the unknown for me. Decent firm though and fair play they were very good as well as cheap and the site has had a lot of praise. Trouble now is there's a few little bugs and things that need altering and despite offering them money even they just don't want to know. Must only be intrested in the big jobs.
Haven't done any programming since I had my Vic 20 all those years ago but would love to learn so I'm not relying on pricey web designers when things do go wrong.
Any advice where to start would be most welcome.
Two main problems on the site are email has stopped working and would like to either upload a HTML file or add a META tag to get the google verification going.
Think my version is Linux 2.4.25-HRGRP4smp
Hope to chat to some of you soon

    Paul,

Welcome to the osCMax community... Vic 20... I thought I was the only one around here that used one of those bricks... I then upgraded to the C-64 and marveled at the massive 64k of RAM it had. And the wonderful SID chip. I had a blast programming on it... I even had a 300baud modem that I would use to dial into the local BBS's... I could almost type faster than the modem could spit out text...

It seems like an eternity ago...

Post your problems in the osCMax support forums, you won't get much response in the introductions forum...

Dead jealous now could never afford the commodore 64 with the miners strike and all! Strange how things move on.
