    Default 'Hello

    Hi,

New user here, been lurking for few weeks, and time to register/join community.

Currently setting up store and adding products in clean set up, while also playing around with few contributions and trying to make it better, however not much luck yet with making add-on's work.

    Thanks,
    Russ

    Hi,
You don't say whether you're using osCommerce or osCMax.
'Max requires a little bit of thought for putting in contributions (see Projects, for quite a few already done).
With osC, you'll need a lot of them to approach the ones already in 'Max.

    Welcome.

Well, osCMax of course, since I'm in osCMax forums

Been trying to install Wolfen Feature Set(oscmax version) but have had no luck.

    Arrow Re: 'Hello

Haven't had a chance to review, since the release of 2.0.25 but is next on my agenda (as an easy one, prior to Option Types).
Note: Wolfen is to be replaced by Open Feature Sets, which is the direction that I'm going in (so you might like to not spend to much heartache over it ).

[This forum caters for both but gets very confusing when people post in the wrong sections: 'Max in osC and vice versa. ]

Good to see that you taken the enlightened route.

I've messed around with osC, but when I found osCMax, it had pretty much all features I wanted.

You are going to need to post a bit more info.

when i mass edit categories it duplicates items
Each line in EP will create a product so if you have been copy and pasting categories you have more than likely been creating products ...

Try the Wiki for more information ...

Well, what I have is products that have model numbers, starting from 1000 and up. First I uploaded all products, then wanted to split them up into categories and sub categories, so re-downloaded via easy populate, added subcategories, then uploaded with update only.

What I have now is item in categories and in top level.

    Thanks,
