Is Oscmax easy or hard?!

Hi,
I am trying to set up an online shop and have read good things about Oscmax.

My question is this - as someone who isn't that technical, will I be able to set up a store with this programme easily? I just need something that works for now, but offers enough flexibility for future tweaks.

I am a quick learner and happy to spend some time setting up, but I really don't want to have to become an expert in programming. I just want to get something live asap for now.

If it's more aimed at developers, is there a different open source prog you'd recommend pls?

I'mbased in the UK, not sure if the payments side of this is easily integrated or not also?

Try it out four yourself. Do a test installation, then report back how long it takes you to do. If you find the installation fairly easy, the rest should also feel fairly easy for you.

It is pretty easy to change the design if you are willing to spend about an hour reading the documentation before jumping in. If you don't want to do everything from scratch, there are commercial templates you can by that drop in.

Compared to many of the other offerings, osCMax has a wealth of up-to-date information available, an active community, stacks of add-ons as standard and plenty of new developments to look forward to.
