i am having this strange character (  ) Appear on my site

take a look (site is incomplete) can anyone let me know what it is all about and how to get rid of it ?

it is located just above "Catagories"

Categories, presumably.
Does it still appear when you switch to the fallback template? This will help narrow down where the characters are being inserted.
