Default Hi there, got a problem

I'm the guy behind the scenes at an oscmax powered website that sells various formats of ebooks. I'm still stumbling around this forum trying to figure out where to post it. Lacking that, I'll start here. It's not my website, I just drew the short stick and do the technical stuff as best I can. I'm using osCMax v2.0.2.

The problem is that when seemingly random customers make their purchases on rare occasions the download links do not appear for the customers, including when they later check their account history in hopes of finding it.

Any idea what would cause this and how I can fix it?

    Thanks,

    Jason Halstead

Have you checked that all of your downloadable products weight set to 0?

I'll do that shortly... but this problem does not occur for everybody on the same product, which leads me to believe it is not the case. Thanks for the idea though, I'll dig into it shortly!

Do you have an URL for the site?

Are you running osCMax with different customer groups?

Also, there have been 2 small security updates since 2.0.2 which I would suggest you look at installing. Nothing too complicated.

No customer groups have ever been bothered with. I handle the web site look and feel, there's somebody else that handles the data entry. Talk about complicated!

    The url is: Excessica :

There are no customer groups set up.

In a related headache, new books that are not yet available for download are put on the site in a coming soon section, which allows them to be pre-ordered. Unfortunately, when the release date hits and the book is made available, the download link for it does not become available to anyone who has purchased it. This particular problem seems like a doozy to me, and probably something that either requires custom coding or a change in the process (i.e. don't allow pre-orders) to deal with... am I right or can this be done with osCMax?
