Yes, I know how that is, but Authorize.net is apparently going to stop accepting the old MD5 hash on June 27, and this applies to BOTH Authorize AIM and Authorize SIM modules in osCmax. I've thrown out a request to see if anybody wants to go in with me on hiring a consultant to do a fix for this, but so far, no takers. I have tried reading the docs at Authorize.net, but I'm not enough up to speed to even know what they are talking about.

    Thanks,

    Jon

Still nobody wants to go in with me to hire a Freelancer to create a module for Authorize.net ? We've got barely 4 weeks...

Also, I checked at osCommerce, and they do NOT seem to have a module for "accept hosted" on authorize.net, either.

Is osCmax dying? It seems to be getting awfully QUIET around here.

It has been for a few years, with limited flurries of activity. :-/

OK, well, thanks for the confirmation. And, it seems osCommerce doesn't have an alternative, either. I could just drop Cayan/Authorize.net and my merchant account, but that would leave me no way to take phone orders, except to have the customer make a payment via PayPal. It would save me some money, though.

    Thanks,

    Jon

Well, first I tried to find a Freelancer to work on this, but it seems they all wanted me to send my database, which of course contains all my shipping and payment credentials. When I said no, they just disappeared. Not great to have confidence in the guys who are registered with Freelancer.

So, I contacted all the developers listed with Authorize.net, some of them were just trying to sell their own hosting and store services.
One outfit seemed interested in actually developing, but they were going to be building it from scratch, and were talking about $5000 to do an Accept Hosted module for me.

So, it looks like I will just have to turn off my merchant account and only provide PayPal. That works for many, but not all customers.
