Default PayPal Website Payments Standard - API setup

My Paypal API recently expired. I clicked through my PayPal profile and updated it, and downloaded the certificate it generated.

I have forgotten what I need to do with this certificate. Do I install it on my site? Do I need to enter any of these settings into my admin config for PayPal Website Payments Standard?

    Thanks

Were you able to resolve this? As far as I recall, and I set up PayPal on my osCmax site years ago, you simply put the strings in the Admin/Modules/Payment/(whatever)PayPal module. Might want to test via a Localhost setup using the PayPal sandbox first if this is your first run at interfacing PayPal with your site...

    Good hunting!

    Thanks JRR,

I originally set this up many years ago, recently recieving messages from PayPal about updating my settings... I wasn't sure if I had to change anything on my admin site. I think it is working although I've had so many other issues with my site recently, it's hard to say. Once I sort these others out I may try the sandbox as you've suggested.

    Cheers.
