    Default Batch categories

    Hey guys,
I would like to ask if there's any easy way to add hundreds of categories and subcats. I tried easypopulate but I can only export categories with atleast one product.

Easypopulate can add 1000s if you want. You can use the export to find the structure of the data ... then you can simply add whatever you need.

Just did 1,600 products each in 3 categories = 4,800 categories or so ...

    Regards.

I've tried everything and I can't get it to export the existing empty categories (there's about 70). It only exports the cat - subcat - subcat that has a test product. Am I missing something? In the export I chose export categories.

Yep - Every category has to have a product at the bottom of it ... why would you want an empty one?

They'll be filled with products later, first I need to make the category structure.
So one way to do it would be duplicate a test product into all lowest level categories and then export, then in the export create new categories with the test product, then import?
