Just a short note to highlight some changes that might be of use to some.

The revamped site now has direct links to the various templates that I've made available, plus a modified Compromise template with a Superfish horizontal Category listing. (You can thank an osCmax user for commissioning me to do that one.)

Additionally, I've made available a new button creator, based on the excellent Zen Button Construction Kit. It's early days for this, with only English available for now and no Admin customisations (yet). If interest is high, then I'm looking to add in the missing 'bits' plus provide a few more button style variations.

The site itself is on an experimental small Cloud resource but might be moved elsewhere/mirrored, if demand is high.

I could help with the german buttons for the generator. There is even a bugreport with translations mady by vortex32 (french) and me (german).

0000957: Buttons for the store - osCmax Bug Tracking System

pgmarshall used the translation for the buttons included in osCmax 2.5 but unfortunately, all the german phrases are lowercase. This is not correct.

I could beta-test and provide additional translations if required. Interested?

The format of the file is different and I don't have time to transcribe the translations. Descriptions should all be lower case; it is handled by the program. There will be a few buttons missing, to bring it to 2.5.0 standard.

In german, all lowercase is just bad grammar. As far as I understand the button creator setting, there is no way to generate proper german phrases with the given options as there are cases where upper/lower cases are mixed. Shouldn't the translation files contain the correct phrases? That's what I'd expect from the setting "-- No change --"?

If the unexpected should happen and a german user wants a different result, he could always change that setting to his needs, or am I missing something?

I never even noticed that option! I always use Proper Case.

Post the requirement in the bugtracker and I will generate the proper buttons for you if you want them ...
