Back in 2003 I mentioned making an OSC mall on the main forum which was pretty small at the at the time. I didn't know much about e commerce but I thought it could be a good way to cross market and possibly advertise. There was small private forum I got invited to join and talk about stuff like that. The mall never happened but several people on that forum started zen cart. Now I doubt if anything like a mall would ever really be worthwhile .

Yeah I wonder about that too. I came across one of the longest blog atrciles I have ever seen on avalon5.com, about the holy grail of e-commerce stores. Ocsommerce, zen-cart and a few others were on the list but some developers are simply convinced that these are not the solutions. Some developers are still convinced that if they could create a mall before the holidays this year, that it will be one of the most profitable solutions ever created for online shopping. we'll see....
