Forum weirdness?

I just signed up - the process went smoothly, but on the page where it confirmed my registration, I saw "michael_s" as the username instead of my own!

I got the email fine, and my username appears to be correct throughout the site, but I've NEVER seen vBulletin misreport the just-registered username before. michael_s *is* a valid user on this site too, so I'm wondering exactly what's going on here.


Any site admins got any ideas?

Michael_s is basically the guy who runs osCmax!

Absolutely I did a double take when I first saw it!

Thanks for the welcome, I've been whipping through the install and (aside from the slightly... holey... docs) it's been a fairly simple setup.

I also messaged michael, so hopefully he's aware of this. (I'm hoping that it's just something hardcoded into the .tpl and there's not some MySQL oddness going on!)
