Product management

I would like to ask what people are using to manage their suppliers products before uploading to site (i an using easy populate)

I have various suppliers (as I am sure many do) who all supply csv files (in many different forms of organisation)
I am looking to be able to upload products that i select to site via EP 1 file

To do this I need to manage the updating/additions deletions or flagging of the suppliers products from one file while still being able to import their changes to prices etc.
IE several csv files into 1 but mintaining the csv's organisation so updating is simply a matter of replacing their contents with the new csv.
Is this Possible & on Mac?
Do I need to look at SQL or the like?

EZPopulate does not accept SQL - it accept a CVS file.

My Mac works fine. iWorks/Numbers, NeoOffice/OpenOffice, MS-Excel etc...

Just append the files together with one heading - and upload.
Depending on the size - I would upload each supplier separately or in chunks.

Unfortunately outside of osCMax there is no default management of your CSV files.

Suggestion could be: Use Excel Pivot tables, adding columns for tracking, using Access or some other external DB like items
