I just recieved a letter from fedex that the API and Fedex ship manager are planned to be terminated. Has Oscmax planned to plan for it already?

I just recieved a letter from fedex that the API and Fedex ship manager are planned to be terminated. Has Oscmax planned to plan for it already?

We received this letter a couple of weeks ago and called FedEx. After being routed through about 6-7 different departments I was finally able to talk to someone who knows (I think) what he is talking about. According to him the difference is going to reflect the way that meter numbers are assigned. There are a lot of packages that you enter your account number and then leave the meter number blank so that one will be automatically assigned.

Once this change has taken place you will have to have an individually assigned meter number to your account. To get an assigned FedEx meter number you will need to follow a series of steps:

1. Visit the Developer Site HERE
2. Log-in with your User ID and Password. Make sure that the drop down box says "Technical Resources".
3. On the left hand side, click on "Technical Resources"
4. Click on the sub-menu, "FedEx Web Services for Shipping"
5. Click on "Move To Production"
6. Scroll all the way to the bottom of the page and click on "Obtain Production Key"
7. For the questions answer the following:

• Do you intend to resell you software? NO
• Please check each box next to each type of FedEx web service you intend to use in your integration solution: Check only FedEx Web Services for Shipping
• Please indicate whether you are developing your FedEx Integration solution as a Corporate Developer or as a Consultant: Corporate Developer

8. Click on Continue
9. Accept the Terms
10. Fill in your registered company information.
11. Click Continue.
12. Click Continue again.

You will then be presented with a page showing your assigned Authentication Key and your Meter Number. It is a good idea to print this out!

Now just how in the heck did you accomplish that? That was what I was trying to accomplish but could not figure out how to add the darned thing.

Yup. In your admin modules>shipping>fedex you put your account number in and your meter number. Just remember to set the rest of the variables the way that you want as well.

Awesome except FedEx Ground rates are not showing up anymore. Can anyone help?

Which I think indicates I do get a Home Delivery Ground option that is returned but is not showing up in the actual options for the user.

I switched my meter # back to the old one and ground is still not showing up....
