Default osCMax 2.0 register global fix

    Hi,
I'm using osCMax 2.0, my ISP is going to upgrade the php version to 5.6 soon, for making it compatible with php 5.6, i applied the patch from Register Globals Easy | Apps Marketplace | osCommerce, the site is opening now, but clicking on add to cart takes me to a blank page and the product is also not added to cart. Same is happening with Accounts page. Other than this, what else upgrades are required to make it compatible with php 5.6? I'm also attaching the patch I've applied.

Must be a seriously old version of 2.0 to even consider patching it!
You will be far better to upgrade to at least 2.5.4, to stand a chance of getting it to work on PHP 5.6

Thanks for your suggestion, The site is having huge modifications, what would be the best way of upgrading it so that the functionalities work perfectly?
Current version says "osCMax Power E-Commerce, Copyright (c) 2005 osCMax, 2002 osCommerce".

Immediately stop modifications and upgrade. Check out the new functionality and then decide which mods. you really want/need. Use a copy of your current site.
That version line says little what does it say in admin? Not that it matters really as any 2.0.xx version is old. See the wiki for upgrade guidelines.
