Facing problem with Extra Product Fields

Hi,

I am trying to create a new product extra field. There seems to be basic functional bug here.

1) If I edit a field I created earlier, most of 'Yes' and 'No' seem to have interchanged.

2) Product field is showing on products, but even if I add some value and store, the value is not stored and product has empty value for the field.

Has anyone seen similar issue?

Can't say I have ... but I do not use this functionality much ... can you post a some screen shot showing your admin settings for one of these so I can try to replicate?

Hi,

I am not able to attach any image to this thread. It complains invalid image file - I tried with PNG and GIF versions, no success.

However this problem is very simple to reproduce.

1) Click Catalog -> Extra Product Fields -> New Extra Field

2) Enter details:

Label (Some name) and 'Yes',
Does this field apply to all categories => Yes
Display field to customers => No
Display field in admin panel even if hidden from customers: => Yes
Sort order: Some number
Enable advanced search: No
Show field in product listings: No
Enter text using : Text Area
Uses a list of values: No


3) Save the field.

4) Now edit the field again

5) Most of the fields will have wrong value now (Yes would have become No and vice versa).

I can see an issue - but I think this is to do with the show/hide functionality on the page ... rather than the options switching values.

Can you post in the bugtracker with a link to this thread?

Ya I have similar problem in DB Table - products_to_products_extra_fields created by module no value is stored. In-fact it should store the value what i give as a extra-field value, ya but Db Table products_options_values working fine

Any suggestion???
