Hello,
I cant seem to get the slideshow to appear in any template. I am currently using what was fallback-html and made it into my own. Even if I look for it in a template I didnt change it still doesnt work.
Thanks,
Tim

It should really be the "fallback" template you copy and edit to make your own. Never actully had a look at the "fallback-html" template, but I think it is just a fail safe template and does not include the same features as "fallback".
Hmm ... not quite! We have been working on the fallback-html template to allow us to split the template page layout away from the code to make it easier to design new layouts.
Partially my fault since I do not use this method for my work and I have not been updating both templates equally! (Sorry!)
In future we will probably be adopting fallback-html as the default and removing fallback (but not yet - probably v2.6) but don't worry all your current templates will work fine either way.

Soooo...any ideas on how to get it working? As I stated, it won't work with any template I use. And yes it is enabled.
Thank you.
@PGM That sounds good, thought to myself before there was a quite a bit of code in the template files.
@suntech, Have you just updated to 2.5.2? If so you will need to go in and activate each one of the images in your slideshow.
Had a look over the slideshow stuff and it is loaded thought the index_page_modules.php file. So double check that the slideshow module is activated (not sure if that was what you were meaning by "And yes it is enabled").
Goto "Configuration" > "Templates" > "Page Modules" then look for "Slideshow". Cant remember if I had problems with it showing if the sort order was set to 0, so try setting it to 1 as well.
SMurphy,
I have a fresh install of 2.5.2
I went to "Configuration" > "Templates" > "Page Modules" and it is activated (yeah that was what I meant)
My images are set to active
Still nothing. I dont get it. It works fine on my other OSCMax (2.5 RC1) website.
Have a look at the page source and search for "<!-- slideshow module starts -->". If that is there then the module is loading, if not I'l look into what may be causing it not to load.
Also if you keep searching for slideshow in your page source, you should come accross some javascript with slideshow in it.
Do you have javascript enabled in your browser?
Thank you. I actually wound up using a different one that worked out good. I appreciate everyone's help.
