Look at your Admin screen - unless you changed it.

my admin page at the bottom says 2.5 rc1

i thought i upgraded to 2.5.1

If you upgraded but failed to do it correctly, it will still display the old version.

Easy to make a mistake like not renaming the new admin directory to match your custom admin directory name before uploading it. That will result in the wrong version number being displayed since the new files get uploaded to the unused /admin directory instead of whatever is specified in your configure.php files...

Well I guess I upgraded.

I did rename the admin directory and followed all instructions.

I had the email address and phone number appear on my order emails (yah!!!) but then not sure if that was from mod I have done to order_process.php

Then I was thinking how do I actually know I have upgraded, all the indicators remain the same. There are no records of screen shots etc it looked like this now it looks like that etc. Since I don't have anything to compare too it is difficult to know.

eg Is there a new module that I should be seeing???

The best way to be sure is to verify that when you do any upgrade, the version number displayed in the admin matches the version number you just upgraded to. If not, you need to re-upload the new files.

Also, go to the Administration >> Upgrade System section and it should tell you what version you are running.
