Database backup error

Hello,

when i backup my database per wiki instructions i get this error.



2006 - MySQL server has gone away

How do i fix this?

This usually means your backup is taking too long compared to the allowed time per process on the mysql server.

You will need to use a different method to backup your db than the php script in osCmax.

If you have cpanel, use the built in database backup features that cpanel provides.
