Independent quantities not allow?

I am using v2.5RC2 with no mods.

I added an option name with values:

SIZE
S, M, L,...

Then I used QT Pro and added quantities to each size successfully.

Next I added a new option name with value:

SHAPE
Round, Square, Triangle,...

Then QT Pro WILL NOT allow quantities for each value of the new option name.

If I use SIZE again with 1,2,3.... no problem.


Is this a bug or am I missing something?

When you add options don't forget that they are cumlative ...

eg. S, M & L

+ Round, Circle, Triangle

==

Round S
Round M
Round L
Circle S
Circle M
Circle L
Triangle S
Triangle M
Triangle L

I don't beleive that I explained it well.

Product: Widget
Option name: Size
Option value:S
Option value:M
Option value:L

Product: Anvil
Option name: Shape
Option value:Round
Option value:Square
Option value:Triangle

I can not assign individual inventory counts to round, square, and triangle.

Hmm ... I can ... you need to explain what you are doing ... have you read the wiki?

Test 1607 : Anvil [Anvil] - $0.00

You need to:
- add the product
- add the attribute (including ticking the track stock tick box)
- add the attribute options
- go to the product again and click stock
- add the stock to the attributes

This was odd behavior.

I was creating everything in "add product" and then adding inventory and weights through "edit product" with QT Pro with success.
I could never add inventory to the values of a second option name through QT Pro IF I didn't have a total inventory first when I initially added the product.

So to easily add inventory using QT Pro, in edit product mode, you need a total stock count at the bottom.
