Order emails not being sent (paypal)

    I am using the payment module "credit/debit card via paypal" IPN 2.4.

    I am not receiving any order emails customer or store or additional store email.

    Payment is being processed ok and I am receiving payment confirmation email from paypal.

    When I add the check/money order payment method to test the system, the order emails are sent out correctly, customer, store and additional store email.

    When the customer purchases in paypal they did return back to the store, I was watching what pages they were on. I have also tested it with the paypal return on with the https://www.store.com/checkout_process.php entered.

    The order appears in the store. I get paid however no confirmation emails.

    Which file should I be looking for? Any ideas on fixing this issue I am encountering.

    I accidently posted in the wrong section. I am using 2.5 When someone places an order the store owner nor the extra email which is myslef does not get a copy of the order sent to us via email. Is there any known fixes for this.

    Is there any chance anyone has a fix to this. I am now using paypal ipn 2.4 with one page checkout off still get issue but now the customer gets email but still no store email or extra order email

    It works fine on all my 2.5RC2 stores that use Paypal IPN 2.4.

    Most likely you just have the Extra Orders address formatted incorrectly. It has to be in this format:

    Your Name <your@email.com>

    Check your mail server logs to see if the outbound email is getting to your mail server and what if any error messages are generated.

    My issues has nothing to do with the additional email address. There are no order emails being sent when the paypal module is being used. If I dont use that module everything is fine.

    I dont know how to check the mail server.

    Are there any other payment methods that are available in Australia? The paypal option is creating havic with people not completing payment, thinking that they have paid. Google checkout is not available.

    When placing a test order (livestore), I added a coupon for free shipping to remove the shipping charge. I am making a 0.02 order on a live store to test.
    The coupon added an extra line to the invoice ie the discount amount.

    When going to paypalto make payment I have now received "The link you have used to enter the PayPal system contains an incorrectly formatted item amount."

    Try changing the "Set PayPal Completed Order Status" to either Default or Completed and see what happens with orders then.

    That and the default currency of AUD is the only difference between your settings and mine in the paypal module. Make sure your paypal account is setup to handle AUD currency as default too.

    One other thing to check is to make sure your osCmax installation is getting the IPN response from Paypal. If it doesn't get the IPN then there will be no order registered in your osCmax store (and no emails sent). There is a section in your PayPal account that you can review all sent and pending IPNs and will be able to see errors logged if any.
