With the release of osCmax 2.5 in Beta, and the forthcoming release of the final product, I would like to recommend that people take the time to do the following so you will stop the next post from being "what version?"

At the start of your post just add:
oscMax version: 2.5-Beta
or
oscMax version: 2.0.25
or whatever version of oscMax you are using.

You want help, and the developers (and others with experience) really want to help you, but with the version change, many of us are thinking in terms of the version WE are working on and it really benefits you, in getting a better answer faster, if you put us on track to the version of the product YOU are working with.

While I'm hoping that Michael will create a new forums set (like he did from 1.7 to 2.0) when 2.5 releases, as long as 2.5 questions are being asked now in the 2.0 forums, doing the above will help us know just what you are talking about, and allow us to help you more effectively.

I have added thread prefixes to the "Post New Thread" page. Now there is a new field when posting in the osCmax v2 forums. It has a dropdown of versions that can be selected. Currently just 2.0.25 and 2.5. Good idea.

And to answer your other question (or hope), yes there will be new 2.5 forums coming.
