I have just installed osCMax and all looks good. However, when I want to update my currencies I am getting the following error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: curl_init() in \wwwroot\foodshop\catalog\admin\includes\functions \localization.php on line 21

Can someone please guide me on how to correct this?

Thanks.

Hi Frankie. Did you find the fix?

I had a pefectly fine working apache server with my 'buggy' max2 + self installed contributions then deleted all files, reinstalled and now get the...
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: curl_init() ****** \admin\includes\functions\localization.php on line 22

To anybody that may know.
Why is this happening and is it simple to fix? Have searched many forums but haven't really found a fix. Any ideas?

Or you can check to see if curl is compiled by clicking on the Tools  Server Info link. Look for '--with curl' in the Configure Command section at the top and then scroll down and look for the cURL section. It should look something like this:

CURL support enabled
CURL Information libcurl/7.12.0 OpenSSL/0.9.7a zlib/1.1.4

If either are missing, curl is not compiled into php...
