I had Bluehost install an SSL cert and have changed both my config files to read:

// Define the webserver and path parameters
// * DIR_FS_* = Filesystem directories (local/physical)
// * DIR_WS_* = Webserver directories (virtual/URL)
define('HTTP_SERVER', 'http://vanillaorganics.com');
define('HTTPS_SERVER', 'https://vanillaorganics.com');
define('ENABLE_SSL', true);
define('HTTP_COOKIE_DOMAIN', 'vanillaorganics.com');
define('HTTPS_COOKIE_DOMAIN', 'vanillaorganics.com');
define('HTTP_COOKIE_PATH', '/catalog/');
define('HTTPS_COOKIE_PATH', '/catalog/');
define('DIR_WS_HTTP_CATALOG', '/catalog/');
define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_CATALOG', '/catalog/');
define('DIR_WS_IMAGES', 'images/');
define('DIR_WS_ICONS', DIR_WS_IMAGES . 'icons/');
define('DIR_WS_INCLUDES', 'includes/');
define('DIR_WS_BOXES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'boxes/');
define('DIR_WS_FUNCTIONS', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'functions/');
define('DIR_WS_CLASSES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'classes/');
define('DIR_WS_MODULES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'modules/');
define('DIR_WS_LANGUAGES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'languages/');

// Define the webserver and path parameters
// * DIR_FS_* = Filesystem directories (local/physical)
// * DIR_WS_* = Webserver directories (virtual/URL)
define('HTTP_SERVER', 'http://vanillaorganics.com');
define('HTTP_CATALOG_SERVER', 'http://vanillaorganics.com');
define('HTTPS_CATALOG_SERVER', 'https://vanillaorganics.com');
define('ENABLE_SSL_CATALOG', 'true');
define('DIR_FS_DOCUMENT_ROOT', '/home8/vanillao/public_html/catalog/');
define('DIR_WS_ADMIN', '/catalog/wuwei10/');
define('DIR_FS_ADMIN', '/home8/vanillao/public_html/catalog/wuwei10/');
define('DIR_WS_CATALOG', '/catalog/');
define('DIR_FS_CATALOG', '/home8/vanillao/public_html/catalog/');
define('DIR_WS_IMAGES', 'images/');
define('DIR_WS_ICONS', DIR_WS_IMAGES . 'icons/');
define('DIR_WS_CATALOG_IMAGES', DIR_WS_CATALOG . 'images/');
define('DIR_WS_INCLUDES', 'includes/');
define('DIR_WS_BOXES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'boxes/');
define('DIR_WS_FUNCTIONS', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'functions/');
define('DIR_WS_CLASSES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'classes/');
define('DIR_WS_MODULES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'modules/');
define('DIR_WS_LANGUAGES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'languages/');

But my login, checkout, and admin are not showing as https. When I initially went to edit the files, this line read:

define('HTTPS_CATALOG_SERVER', 'http://vanillaorganics.com');

no "s".

Help please!!

I remember getting my ssl cert and the host asked if i was using www.mysite.com (http://www.mysite.com) or just mysite.com for the cert. my cert was for www.mysite.com (http://www.mysite) so i needed to have any secure pages load with the www prefix.
I went to your catalog and the https loaded fine for me...tested just the login and create account page. both loaded as secure for me.
I see you are missing a language define on your header tabs too, the HOME popup is HEADER_TITLE_INDEX

Thanks for the reply. After a couple hours break, I went back at the problem from a different angle and finally found the solution with more help from this forum and the bluehost forum. After fixing a few of my own links and an adjustment in my config files it works! They now read:

// Define the webserver and path parameters
// * DIR_FS_* = Filesystem directories (local/physical)
// * DIR_WS_* = Webserver directories (virtual/URL)
define('HTTP_SERVER', 'https://vanillaorganics.com');
define('HTTP_CATALOG_SERVER', 'http://vanillaorganics.com');
define('HTTPS_CATALOG_SERVER', 'https://vanillaorganics.com');
define('ENABLE_SSL_CATALOG', 'true');

// Define the webserver and path parameters
// * DIR_FS_* = Filesystem directories (local/physical)
// * DIR_WS_* = Webserver directories (virtual/URL)
define('HTTP_SERVER', 'http://vanillaorganics.com');
define('HTTPS_SERVER', 'https://vanillaorganics.com');
define('ENABLE_SSL', true);
define('ENABLE_SSL_CATALOG', 'true');
define('HTTP_COOKIE_DOMAIN', 'vanillaorganics.com');
define('HTTPS_COOKIE_DOMAIN', 'vanillaorganics.com');
