I have enabled SEO Urls which converts a url like:

http://flooringsteals.com/product_info.php?products_id=866

to:

http://flooringsteals.com/b70hhorizontal-bamboo-coffee-hdf-ez-click-38-34-4ft-p-18.html

When I look at the sitemapproducts.xml file generated it list the products in the original, non-SEO format. Does this cause a problem with how my pages will be indexed and returned in searches? I would think that it would cause a problem other wise why would we use the SEO feature?

I thought I understood this but apparently I do not.

ver2.5 RC1
php5
mySQL 5

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, that is incorrect - it should be the SEO formatted link. This was fine in 2.0.25 but appeared in RC1.

Thanks for the response. If it is incorrect, is there a fix? Or is the bug the way I am doing something?

I'm looking at one of my clients' site, right at this very moment, which runs RC1 (against my recommendation) and I have it showing the correct links - just gotta figure how I done it. ;)

Thanks so much for the help. As you can imagine, having our products properly indexed by the search engines is very important to us.

There is a typo to the href link in a number of places, plus a section of SEO code missing in the sitemap.class.php file. Given the extent of the changes, I'd imagine this has been addressed in bugtracker/SVN.

[My advice to you: have a touch of patience and await the (imminent) release of RC2, which is getting much more like what I consider to be production software.]
