    Michael,
I'm upgrading from SVN 1627 to latest 1783.
I was at RC2.5 now at the released 2.5.1
    I have 2 questions:
    1) I'm using SVN 1.6.16, whilst the SVN has downloaded al files / Merge / Delete etc to latest SVN 1783, the log only shows to 1691, and the date on SVN is stuck at 25th Feb - there is no further dates in the to/from beyond Fen 20 ? Bizzar ! HELP ? I need the log to see if any SQL database updates were made after Feb20. When I right click on a file, i.e english/core.php that has been updated to latest SVN 1783 with data April 2nd, the log only shows to Feb 20 !!! what is wrogn with Toitoise SVN ?
    2) when I update the SQL database, particualrly 1636, I already have lines 3500 to 3511 in the configuration values. So I added the new items from 3700 to 3711. will this work OK ? I mean, they dont have to be in pre-defined positions do they to work ?

Please get back ASAP, I have a live site and it is down... !

    cheers
    Rob

You need to switch branches as you are using a deprecated or reintegrated branch.

The old 2.1 branch is no longer used. No commits are made to it (since Feb).
The 2.5.0 development branch was reintegrated to the trunk. No more commits are made to it after April 1st.

Switch to the trunk to checkout the latest or if you want to continue with bleeding edge code, switch to the 2.5.1 branch.

    Google the 'svn switch' command.

Yes, per the release announcement, use that automated upgrade system in the admin panel to apply the db changes.

Whats the best way to run a diff? I thought bugtracker had a diff thing going for each version but I can't find it atm.

Ive just uploaded the 2.5.0 to 2.5.1 changes (i had the PL upload on already) and have this down the left side of my site

1054 - Unknown column 'show_in_infobox' in 'where clause'

    SELECT information_id, information_title, information_url, information_target, parent_id FROM information WHERE visible='1' and show_in_infobox='1' and language_id='1' and information_group_id = '1' ORDER BY sort_order

    [TEP STOP]

    Have I missed something?

    Another question...
in my CPanel, I now have an admin folder (I renamed my original admin as advised previously). Should I rename this new admin folder as well and does it matter what I rename it as?

Ive followed Michaels upgrade instructions. After step 5 I get this message
    osCmax Upgrade System

Your database has been fully upgraded. Please complete your upgrade by uploading the osCmax v2.5.0 files now.

I had expected it to say v2.5.1 or at least v2.5.0 PL1 like the admin shows
