You can track progress towards completion in the BugTracker - once most of these are done then we have a stable release. (Assuming people have been testing v2.5 Beta 2 and reporting the bugs ... )

Today I installed the beta and admin workis fine, but when I go to the catalog I get a blank white page. Any ideas? Should I reinstall?

One approach is to check your error logs. If you installed locally on your computer, check your error logs for your hosting software (i.e. Apache error log files). If you installed it on a live site on the web, check your error logs in your admin panel (i.e. cpanel).
