Problem solved...user errorThanks Michael...so far everything looks great.
Did a new installation, i wasnt able go to anywhere with it.
I found that catalog/includes/configure.php & catalog/admin/includes/configure.php is missing
I saw your release document posted in the forum, that these were the deleted files. Doesn't the new release require a configure.php file?
Thanks
Yep!
They should be called configure.php.new - designed like this to stop you overwriting your current settings ...
Hope this helps,
pgmarshall

For anyone else that has an issue with installation of a new copy of osCMax, see this page:

Specifically the note at the bottom:
osCMax v2.0.15 is supplied with the catalog level .htaccess and two configure.php files suffixed by .new
This has been done to prevent the overwriting of any pre-existing files. On some server environments, it may be necessary to rename these files prior to running the install script, as indicated below:
catalog/.htaccess.new→catalog/.htaccess
catalog/includes/configure.php.new→catalog/includes/configure.php
catalog/admin/includes/configure.php.new→catalog/admin/includes/configure.php
Remember to set the permission on these two config.php files to 777; run/complete the installation; change permissions to 444.

Enhanced Mopics - need help: I have upgraded to osCMAX 2.0.15. It was easy to install, and it works fine. Thanks. ...
I am having trouble using the new image functions and Enhanced Mopics. Where can I find documentation on these functions? The links in the forum lead to "page not found."
1) I can show thumbnails with no "click to enlarge," or I get no thumbnail with "click to enlarge" by adjusting the settings admin settings for Dynamic Mopics.
2) Also I have unknowingly created subfolders within images/thumbs and images/images_big.
3) I cannot delete or modify these images because they appear to be assigned to user = apache.

Dynamic Mopics within v2.0.15: I was under the impression these image mangement solutions were already included within the latest release of osCMAX and needed no modification. I will work to install separately the modules you recommend. Thanks.
I found the latest documentation for Enhanced Dynamic Mopics for v2.0.15 at: http://wiki.oscdox.com/dynamic_mopics. It clarified some of my questions. It also helps one to understand better some of the differences between the various image management modules.

Michael,
I have installed a new copy of oscmax and oddly the site works for a while then it goes to a white page. I meant to start a new thread but the board says I do not have permission. Anyhow I followed your instructions above and the error I get is
The sites was up just fine...upon refresh it went blank. I restored and a while later it did it again. I was making no changes at the time. It is very strange based on the circumstances. Had I been programming or designing at the time then at least I could undo something but this is not the case.PHP Code:Fatal error: Call to a member function add_current_page() on a non-object in /home/eprodesi/public_html/includes/application_top.php on line 358
Can you please advise.
Thank you
