any tips on when is gonna be the next update, and if it is going to work with OSCMAX installations that do not have english as their default language?

1.1 is almost done. Check the fsasoft.org forums for development announcements.

Yes, v1.1 will have full multi-language support. That has been the biggest delay in getting 1.1 out. There had to be a lot of new code added for full multi-language support.
